Beginnings. As difficult as starting this article - not because I do not have anything to write about, but due to the whirlwind of activities in the past weeks, I do not know what to write first. Anyway, let me again thank and congratulate everyone for a very happy, fun and successful Induction and Installation of Officers; it just shows what we can accomplish if we put our hands and heads together. Let us hope that this is a harbinger of many more good things to come for this Rotary year and that we will continue to be blessed with a lot of energy, resources, friends and partners to do further help our communities.
I can imagine the coming year as one filled with opportunities to improve the lives of the less fortunate. I am sure we will respond to the challenge of creating pathways to the future for Rotary with the usual vigor and enthusiasm that RC Waling Waling is known for. But what I also look forward to is getting to know personally the women who make the wheel turn for Rotary this side of the world. Perhaps as President, I will enjoy more the fellowship and chance to work with you closely on our many projects.
